Projects for Super Saturday 2011

Below are the projects we will have available for Super Saturday. We tried to keep the costs down as much as possible. For some of the projects you may need to bring stuff, but we figured if you had it around the house or could find it cheap it would be less you had to pay. If you did not fill out the sign up page for a craft or crafts you want to do you can e-mail Monica Rudd @ greg700x@hotmail.com with your order by 10/22. *All money needs to been in by 10/22 or your name will be crossed of the list. Please pay in exact cash to Angela Jenkins; if you can't get a hold of her you can drop it off to Monica Rudd any evening after 6pm

Bottle-cap Resin Magnets

Teacher: Jessica Armitage
Cost: .25 cents per magnet.
We will provide some stickers for the middle, but if you would like to bring any of your own stickers or small pictures (1") to put in you are more than welcome to.

Vintage Rosette Necklace
Teacher: Angela Jenkins
Cost: $10
You can order from the following: teal beads with black rose (shown), black beads and a black rose, bronze beads with cream rose, or black beads with cream rose. For pictures, feel free to visit http://www.peachychic.com/list/vintage-rosette-diy-kits.html

Picture Blocks
Teacher: Valerie Evans
Cost: If you want to bring your own picture, it is .75 cents per block. The picture needs to be 5"x5". If you want to do a plain temple block it is $1, and if you want the vinyl saying "I'm going there Someday" then it's $2 per block.

Felt Wreath
This wreath looks really cool when done. It can be used year round and easily be made holiday specific by adding and changing out a bow ie: Halloween it can look ghostly, Christmas and all through winter as a snowy look ect.
Teacher: Monica Rudd
Cost: $7.00 (300 push pins $2.97 + tax, wreath - $4.00)
**Bring your own felt, whatever color you want - 2.5 yards. It would be very helpful to pre-cut your felt into 3 inch circles, otherwise you will spend the whole time there cutting.

Christmas Books
Teacher: Kerry Hersom & Lynette Siler
Cost: TBD
You will need to bring: 2 1/2 yards of Christmas Material and 3 yards of ribbon or lace if you want it as edging. Bring a 3 inch binder, it can be an old one. Batting will be provided, as well as the copies made and sheet protectors. Another option if you don't want to do material/batting is if you have a binder with the clear plastic over it, you could get some cute Christmas paper and just put it in for a cover, and maybe print "Christmas Book" (or something else) on the paper.

Hair bow Holder Frame
Teacher: Katie Gross
Cost: $1 if you bring your own paint and ribbon, or $4 if you use everything supplied. We will provide black and white paint, and supplies to attach ribbon.

***Bring your own Frame***

Temple Memory Game
Teacher: Mindi Tuckett
Cost: $8
We will have basic paint colors, but if you want a specific color you can bring it. You can also bring scrapbook paper for the back of each block if you want.

Family Home Evening Board
Teacher: Heather Henderson
Cost $12.00
If you want to a special color of paint, feel free to bring it, otherwise we will provide a few basic colors for you to choose from (probably black, cream or red). The magnets that Jessica is making would go cute with this board.

Birthday Balloon Wreath
"This wreath is so festive and fun to decorate with for every birthday. What a way to welcome the birthday person with COLOR! Your kids will love it when the birthday wreath comes out... it will be associated with birthday FUN!!!"

Teacher: Shalynn Snow
Cost: $13.50 : ($2.40 for the staw wreath base, $1.60 for the floral pins and $9.56 for the 144 balloons (these are larger than standard size ballons. We priced them out using standard size ballons from the dollar store and the price came out about the same cause you would need more ballons and pins to fill the space.)

Menu Planner Board
Teacher: Mindi Tuckett
Bring your own Frame & whatever material or scrapbook paper you want for your background
Bring Own frame and Fabric to fit frame. If you can find a 12x12 frame then you can do scrapbook paper instead of fabric...I'm going to try and borrow some Cricket Machines so if they want to cut out letters and glue on boards they can. I will have the glues there and if you don't want to do Menu or Reminder on your board then you don't have to. I'm going to do some for my kids rooms with maybe their names so they can hang art work or whatever. Possibilities are endless with what you do with it. I know Walmart has $5 frames or you can even check DI if you don't want to spend a lot for the frame.
Cost: No additional cost to what you bring
